There is currently a moratorium on visual resource submissions due to the website redesign. Coming in 2010 the new and improved MicrobeLibrary 2.0!

Goal
Established in 1998, the Visual Collection features high quality, peer-reviewed images, animations, and videos about the microbial world for educators, primarily at the undergraduate level.
Current Inventory
As of December 2009, there are 592 visual resources in the MicrobeLibrary. Still images make up 73% of the collection. The remaining 27% include animations and video clips.
