Goal
Established in 1998, the Visual Collection features high quality, peer-reviewed images, animations, and videos about the microbial world for educators, primarily at the undergraduate level.
Current Inventory
As of August 2009, there are 591 visual resources in the MicrobeLibrary. Still images make up 73% of the collection. The remaining 27% include animations and video clips.
